I’m Ahmad Abboud. For the past 6 years I have built and led the building of systems for factories and growing companies: the kind that track stock, orders, quality and people, and that cannot be down on a Monday morning. Four kinds of work, and most projects turn out to be a mixture of them. If you are not sure which one yours is, that is a normal place to start.
Business systems no off-the-shelf product fits
When your work does not match what you can buy, I build the thing that does: ERP, customer and supplier portals, approvals, reporting. It is built around how your people already work, rather than making them work around it.
Websites and web applications
Fast, accessible, and built to keep working for years. They load quickly on an ordinary phone on an ordinary connection, which is how most people will actually see them.
Leading a small team
I lead developers as well as write code. If the work is bigger than one person, it can be a team, with someone accountable for the whole thing rather than just their own part.

What to expect from me
The short version, so you know what you are getting before we ever speak.
- You get plain answers I will tell you what something will take and what it will not solve. If a cheaper or simpler option exists, you will hear about that one too.
- It has to hold up when nobody is watching The systems I build run overnight, on weekends, and through the busiest week of your year. That is designed in, not hoped for.
- The work is yours You own the code and the data. Everything is documented so another developer could pick it up, and nothing depends on me being reachable.
- I finish things Handover, documentation and the unglamorous last ten percent are part of the job. You should never have to chase me for them.
